C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Miran FC the free kick. Victor Ortle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Caco Marques made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Sid Lampard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caco Marques. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Caco Marques made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Victor Ortle sent off a good shot on target. Sid Lampard struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Caco Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.. Caco Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Ortle in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute of the match C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a corner. New Miran FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Ortle ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes in the game, Sid Lampard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caco Marques having to interfere. Caco Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Lampard in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. were awarded a corner. Victor Ortle went to the cornerflag to take it. Caco Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Ortle in the 36th minute. Caco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ortle in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Victor Ortle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Caco Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 minutes of play, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Sid Lampard made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. After 60 played minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Abraão. In the 62nd minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Miran FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Ortle was slow to take the kick. During this time C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Gustavo Gómez made a great header on C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s corner, it was just that New Miran FC's Caco Marques managed to reach the ball for a save. 65 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Tufan came free, but Caco Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Lampard, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Caco Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Lampard in the 73rd minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ortle in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sid Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
