But to his dismay, Filomeno De Putter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rene Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Romero came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno De Putter came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Salles made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Célio Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Filomeno De Putter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Austin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo de Lima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Aarstad in the 34th minute of play forced Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo de Lima came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Cristian Salles made a huge save. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Triforce Super Soccer were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno De Putter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dean Velasco's late challenge caught a Triforce Super Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. Dean Velasco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Cerqueira in the 57th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo de Lima took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Austin. Rene Austin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Cristian Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Queirós in the 77th minute of the match. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno De Putter in the 78th minute of play. Filomeno De Putter kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's keeper Rene Austin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Sandrinho Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Sandrinho Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Triforce Super Soccer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Cristian Salles had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonello Anzolin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 91st minute of play forced Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldo Calçada who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Napoleon Tylenda at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ. 1-7. But to his dismay, Jean-Pascal Croissant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. The Triforce Super Soccer supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Triforce Super Soccer would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
