An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Gecionis in the 19th minute of play forced CLL ASSOCIAÇÃO DESPORTIVA's goalkeeper Clemente Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Hodne in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Generoso Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Normando in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, B-S-L's Guga Bezerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guga Bezerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of B-S-L protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guga Bezerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Flávio Rosado hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
