Pedro Paulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Raphael Dantas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 13 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Çeliker Pekgöz. After a defensive mix-up in Airborne FC's zone, Zbigniew Zatorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Barreto came out of the goal and Zbigniew Zatorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 21st minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Jatsu in the 26th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Zbigniew Zatorski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 33rd minute of play. Pedro Paulo Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Zatorski's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were awarded a corner. Emiliano Toribio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Emiliano Toribio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Paulo Barreto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s zone, Äli Abdulrähmanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Dantas came out of the goal and Äli Abdulrähmanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Rolando Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Jatsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Zatorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Barreto. Airborne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbigniew Zatorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mauro Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zatorski came free, but Pedro Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Thanos got free with Pedro Paulo Barreto in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Paulo Barreto was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Tony Thanos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tony Thanos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 77th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Airborne FC made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Marcos Linares. Pedro Paulo Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Thanos in the 81st minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Sampaio in the 88th minute of play. Raphael Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 91st minute of the match. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
