The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Zé Carlos Vaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Joldea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Przemyslaw Tscherner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Teofil Gorzkiewicz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner. Przemyslaw Tscherner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Przemyslaw Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Loyola. Teofil Gorzkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Tscherner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Guilherme Félix replaced Yang Sang Qian. When Perivaldo Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perivaldo Loyola couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match, Teofil Gorzkiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Przemyslaw Tscherner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- made a substitution. Gugu Mandrak replaced Carmelo Salantes. TIMETER EC -DMZ- were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s much stronger midfield.
