When Gedeon Káposztás came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gedeon Káposztás couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Edson Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Tacal came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lupere FC - DMZ's zone, Gedeon Káposztás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Neves came out of the goal and Gedeon Káposztás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Sermet Tacal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes Grêmio Papão de WC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atso Joenväärä who took care of the corner kick. Gedeon Káposztás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Evaristo Neves made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Grêmio Papão de WC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edson Faria in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Edson Faria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evaristo Neves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lupere FC - DMZ's Evaristo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Mika in the 56th minute of play. Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Legzdins came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Stuart Legzdins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andréas Linquist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist got control of the ball when Sermet Tacal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andréas Linquist made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sermet Tacal sent off a good shot on target. Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Lupere FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Selman Pektaşi took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Pancho in the 87th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Nakoneczny kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Muniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Neves. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Muniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
