With an all-out effort, Grêmio Papão de WC's Bernardo Moreira threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Selman Pektaşi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gedeon Káposztás. Giorgian Arrascaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Linquist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Fellipe Machado got a free kick in the 18th minute. Bernardo Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gedeon Káposztás's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Bunda Cagara made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eusébio Vieira however managed to control. Warren FC - DMZ's Bernardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warren FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Selman Pektaşi was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Papão de WC's players had a chance to rest. When Gedeon Káposztás came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gedeon Káposztás couldn't finish the play. Warren FC - DMZ's Sydney Guerra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kléber Barral, made in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Garrincha in the 46th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Machado. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 57th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gedeon Káposztás went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Kléber Barral in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Sydney Guerra. With a little luck, Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist got control of the ball when Giorgian Arrascaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 minutes Grêmio Papão de WC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bunda Cagara who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bunda Cagara heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bernardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gedeon Káposztás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gedeon Káposztás in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Moreira saved Warren FC - DMZ from getting behind. Kléber Barral made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Betão da Silveira. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Garrincha in the 85th minute of play. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
