Lupere FC - DMZ's Valdemar Monteiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luke Olle, made in the 7th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Babür Kongurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragões Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Babür Kongurtay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Chaves made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Stuart Legzdins sent off a good shot on target. Stuart Legzdins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Stuart Legzdins could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Daniel Chaves however easily saved by the left post. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Dragões Barbudos FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes of play, Dragões Barbudos FC's Gică Moisescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Pancho Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Evaristo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay in the 29th minute of play. Daniel Chaves made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Stuart Legzdins sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pancho Pancho in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes Dragões Barbudos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atso Joenväärä who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lupere FC - DMZ's corner Alan das Neves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Chaves quite easily take care of the ball. Dragões Barbudos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Pancho Pancho scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Chaves, making the score, 1-1. Evaristo Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Moisescu in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stuart Legzdins made a kick off. Evaristo Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gică Moisescu in the 50th minute. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Legzdins in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Babür Kongurtay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Daniel Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pancho Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Daniel Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pancho Pancho in the 62nd minute of the match. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan das Neves in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, one of Lupere FC - DMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lupere FC - DMZ. Lupere FC - DMZ's Evaristo Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 71st minute of play. Babür Kongurtay scored 1-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gică Moisescu. Evaristo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Paulista in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babür Kongurtay. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dragões Barbudos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
