But to his dismay, Jacinto de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Renato Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Jacinto de Lara notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal. Renato Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Régis Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Victoro in the 27th minute. Jacinto de Sousa tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Antônio Borges. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 27th minute. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xicu Cuadrado in the 31st minute of the match. Renato Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 32nd minute. Renato Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Vidal was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Jacinto de Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto de Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Jacinto de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Eche Centrih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Madureira to make the kick off. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xicu Cuadrado in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 68th minute of play forced ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's goalkeeper Renato Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto de Lara went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Marques. In the 89thth minute of the game Jacinto de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ's Renato Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ruy Bastos hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PIRATAS TFP fans cheered their team off the field, for while ცơყʂ ɠơƖɖ ʂ.ƈ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
