After having played for 32 minutes, Simão Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Santos in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Simão Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Da Guía. 43 minutes into the match, Simão Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ixidor Lelerre. Olinda FMZ DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
