Maicon Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robinho Toledo took the corner. Maicon Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adilson de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 38th minute of play. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
