When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Verner Sundström sped through La Pachorra LSF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Erlantz. La Pachorra LSF's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Sundström in the 14th minute of play. Eriberto Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Bilintx in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto got control of the ball when Benedicto Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Falleto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Rufio in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Verner Sundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Erlantz was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Eriberto Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Sundström in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 65 played minutes La Pachorra LSF got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Kübler. Los Podridos ll's Leandro Dunixi was substituted for Ulises Costa. In the 66th minute, Magnus Kübler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in La Pachorra LSF's zone, Fulgencio Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Erlantz came out of the goal and Fulgencio Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Steller in the 72nd minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Sundström hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Verner Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Falleto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veto Steller's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Veto Steller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Podridos ll eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
