Ali Cafer Konuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Rosio in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Barreiros in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Wuyts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Barreiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Barreiros in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Mickael Wuyts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Romo in the 39th minute. RED DEVIL's Tomás Romo managed to work through Bahía é Carnaval's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomás Romo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tomás Romo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mickael Wuyts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED DEVIL. Jacinto Rosio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto Rosio to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Fernando Barreiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
