Fernando Barreiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickael Wuyts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Tomás Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ciro Playo sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Playo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Cafer Konuralp came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Playo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Romo in the 16th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Wuyts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Barreiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match RED DEVIL got a corner. Bahía é Carnaval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Flores ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serafino Flores made a great header on RED DEVIL's corner, it was just that Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts managed to reach the ball for a save. Mickael Wuyts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Barreiros's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Serafino Flores got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mickael Wuyts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the game, Tomás Romo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mickael Wuyts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Barreiros struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mickael Wuyts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED DEVIL. The audience was convinced that Fernando Barreiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. RED DEVIL were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Bahía é Carnaval's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafino Flores took the corner. RED DEVIL's Serafino Flores was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mickael Wuyts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mickael Wuyts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Barreiros's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Fernando Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael Wuyts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Barreiros in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Barreiros in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Wuyts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fernando Barreiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Mickael Wuyts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner led RED DEVIL's Serafino Flores to fire away a dangerous shot which Mickael Wuyts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. RED DEVIL's Fernando Barreiros was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Playo in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RED DEVIL eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
