After 5 played minutes, Los Podridos ll's Filiberto Erramu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Podridos ll reached it. After 7th play minutes Ulises Costa shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Mickael Wuyts and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Ulises Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mickael Wuyts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickael Wuyts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mickael Wuyts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Costa's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Ulises Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The Los Podridos ll fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Los Podridos ll's Ulises Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Los Podridos ll were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Playo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ulises Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Podridos ll's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mickael Wuyts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Costa. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Erubiel Gaitan hit a great ball. Mickael Wuyts stood somewhat misplaced when Ulises Costa came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 67 minute. Los Podridos ll made a substitution. Natanael Vives replaced Filiberto Erramu. Bahía é Carnaval's Conrado Cambranes was substituted for Prospero Jakes. After 78 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Astor Brais. Los Podridos ll made a substitution. Leandro Dunixi replaced Ulises Costa. The supporters of Los Podridos ll booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Los Podridos ll's Mickael Wuyts threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Dunixi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mickael Wuyts had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Leandro Dunixi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Juan Carlos Messi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickael Wuyts having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Carlos Messi in the 84th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Los Podridos ll's Leandro Dunixi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mickael Wuyts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mickael Wuyts stood somewhat misplaced when Leandro Dunixi came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Mickael Wuyts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Messi in the 93rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Natanael Vives got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mickael Wuyts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 98th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Playo to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Los Podridos ll left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bahía é Carnaval.
