The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Tapia got free with Max Limont in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hexo Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guillermo Marin was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Club Celta de Vigo's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nestor Araujo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hexo Utd's Max Limont did a great save. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Datcu in the 13th minute of play. Jamie Carragher made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karl-Johan Wallin. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes of play, Hexo Utd's Adolfo Brandão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Toxeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Brandão came free, but Pepe Toxeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Renato Tapia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Max Limont. The goal made the score 1-1. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mar Cheze in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mar Cheze, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.
