In the 26th minute Cougars FC were awarded a corner. Angel Morales went to the cornerflag to take it. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Bladi in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Daniël Isla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehat Kovaçi. Daniël Isla made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Mehat Kovaçi sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Lucas to make the kick off. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Rodriguinho Moraes sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute of the game David Antunes made a throw-in which Esteve Lando played forward. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Bladi in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mehat Kovaçi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniël Isla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fiori Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Bladi in the 82nd minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Gerardo Nesto in Cougars FC was the one to initiate the kick off. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Bladi in the 103rd minute of play. When Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge in the 104th minute got a chance for a shot 104th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniël Isla was a little too slow when Gerardo Nesto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 108th minute. The score was now 2-1.
