In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Mata in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoil Pequeño. In the 37th minute of the match Deportivo ScrugenFC got a corner. Jastreb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jastreb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo ScrugenFC the free kick. A collision led to Jastreb getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sixto Figueroa hit a great ball. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miran Tudor in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Cantona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Jastreb's Jose Boldu threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bo Cantona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Forsberg in the 67th minute of play. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jastreb made a substitution. Navarro Montoya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo ScrugenFC had won after a very even match.
