The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Boniel to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Litago came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boomer Fc's Gumersindo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Litago in the 53rd minute of play. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Jakes Ortiz made the kick off and play began. Agus De Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gumersindo Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 103rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Rednic during the 108th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
