After some careless play in the Balaceanu UFC defense, Stig-Åke Rosendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Orghidan. The Balaceanu UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Orghidan should have stopped the shot. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Burdujan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when István Markos came free, but Dorin Orghidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Burdujan in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Zăreanu got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balaceanu UFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcu Tomoioagă in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Burdujan came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Balaceanu UFC defense, Harun Mengüer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Orghidan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Zăreanu got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorin Orghidan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harun Mengüer's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's István Markos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorin Orghidan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Balaceanu UFC's Dorin Zăreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorin Orghidan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harun Mengüer in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, István Markos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dorin Orghidan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

An unexpectedly hard shot by István Markos in the 82nd minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Nirvana. 85 minutes into the game, Dorin Zăreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Stipe Pletikosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iustinian Burdujan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. István Markos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers István Markos in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Orghidan saved Balaceanu UFC from getting behind.

The Fortuna 86 Szczecin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
