Facundo Altamirano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Montenegro in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulus Van Poucke got free with Adilson Moraes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the LOBO 1908 defense, Cruz Credo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson Moraes. The LOBO 1908 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson Moraes should have stopped the shot. LOBO 1908's Ernani Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Montenegro. After 39 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Marin. In the 40th minute Ernani Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Facundo Altamirano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Victorino Txomin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, LOBO 1908's Camillo Lampa got a free kick in the 45th minute. Adilson Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani Montenegro made a kick off. The supporters of LOBO 1908 booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernani Montenegro scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Facundo Altamirano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prudencio Ixidor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Facundo Altamirano came out and tried to block the shot, but Prudencio Ixidor slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 64th minute. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla from getting a goal against them. Adilson Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Fergus Forester. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 minutes LOBO 1908's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulus Van Poucke who took care of the corner kick. Primitivo Txanton was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Maravilla's Cruz Credo suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Marquinhos Sharkin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Sharkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maravilla booed when LOBO 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Sharkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adilson Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The LOBO 1908 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson Moraes should have stopped the shot. When Vasco Gentil fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Vasco Gentil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vasco Gentil hit a great ball.
