Roberto Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Oscar Giraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Oscar Giraldo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Meriç Bergin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Oscar Giraldo. But to his dismay, Oscar Giraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Trabzonspor FC's Meriç Bergin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor FC from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes Trabzonspor FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezary Chrzan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cezary Chrzan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Meriç Bergin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abayhan Umar in the 76th minute of play. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Bernard Cytrynski was substituted for Bertil Ekström. SMOCZANKA MIELEC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Trabzonspor FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sylwester Klimkiewicz took the corner. The supporters of Trabzonspor FC booed when SMOCZANKA MIELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Malafaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Malafaia might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Meriç Bergin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Malafaia ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor FC's goalkeeper Meriç Bergin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Malafaia. In the 91st minute of the match, Roberto Lewandowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Meriç Bergin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Meriç Bergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Klimkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Trabzonspor FC's Meriç Bergin got control of the ball when Oscar Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The Trabzonspor FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SMOCZANKA MIELEC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
