When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Zoran Simović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarkko Laatikainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Jarkko Laatikainen came free, but Zoran Simović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mert Günok made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Bir Garip Oyun's goalkeeper Mert Günok had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Frans. Zoran Simović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmet Suergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
