Hayri Pitirimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Naldo Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 19th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Naldo Roig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl got control of the ball when Gaskon Gimeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Henrique Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desiderio Elias made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gregory Bermejo immediately put the ball in play. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Gimeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Henric Villaquiran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hansjörg Wastl was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Naldo Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Borges's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Desiderio Elias in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Naldo Valladares. Henrique Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Naldo Valladares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Naldo Roig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 46 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Pitta. After the first half Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henric Villaquiran to make the kick off. Gaskon Gimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hansjörg Wastl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaskon Gimeno in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hansjörg Wastl saved Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting behind. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Edu Carvalho replaced Henrique Borges. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Zé Ivakin got a free kick in the 76th minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Reina in the 88th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Picanya FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
