Laurențiu Gaciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miromir Gdowski in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Harry Sandström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Exército Português's Marian Axinte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Miguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Armando Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurențiu Gaciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Miguel in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Miguel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu. Laurențiu Gaciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31stth minute of the game Ronaldinho Miguel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kent Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Meireles in the 33rd minute of play. Armando Meireles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Beckeman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Laurențiu Gaciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Miguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso was substituted for Ronaldinho Miguel. Glentown FC's Hồ Linda was substituted for Harry Papa. After the first half the score was level. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasta Alfonso to make the kick off. When Exército Português's Armando Meireles, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Exército Português. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Exército Português defense, Hasta Alfonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurențiu Gaciu. The Exército Português fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurențiu Gaciu should have stopped the shot. After 67 minutes, Bruno Soveral made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Exército Português made a substitution. Aybar Hasret replaced Feliks Maurycy. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Armando Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Beckeman came out of the goal and Armando Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Soveral in the 73rd minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Beckeman made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bruno Soveral sent off a good shot on target. Kent Beckeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Meireles in the 78th minute. Kent Beckeman was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Armando Meireles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Meireles really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 83 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurențiu Gaciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Miromir Gdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurențiu Gaciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Meireles in the 96th minute of play. Laurențiu Gaciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 97th minute of play.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Exército Português walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
