Eulalio Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Iraunkor in the 15th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Tomasz Gacek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Glapiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mafia Koniaka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner Virgil Oargă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zbigniew Glapiak quite easily take care of the ball. Eulalio Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lúcio da Silva sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Panait in the 30th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Mafia Koniaka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgil Oargă took the corner. If Shi Ming Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Lisandro Iraunkor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eulalio Urbasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eulalio Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lisandro Iraunkor sent off a good shot on target. When Radomil Dudkowski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mafia Koniaka's protests and gave Radomil Dudkowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mafia Koniaka getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Radomil Dudkowski hit a great ball. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Mafia Koniaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Dudkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Eulalio Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Iraunkor in the 52nd minute of play. Antoni Kachamakov tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eulalio Urbasa. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 86th minute. Shi Ming Sheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Glapiak made a huge save. Eulalio Urbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Przemyslaw Gierasik's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Daniel Hajduk with Ksawery Podwojski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With an all-out effort, Stiinta-Univ.'s Zbigniew Glapiak threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okan Koc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
