Vladimiro Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Vikingos FC's Roque Vito in the 8th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mané Andrade was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Maraponga FAC through an amazing save. Mané Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Lauro's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 11th minute of the match, Vladimiro Lauro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mané Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 16th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Per-Olof Vallmark got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mané Andrade quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Mané Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Magadan in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Vladimiro Lauro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mané Andrade to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mané Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maraponga FAC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per-Olof Vallmark was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikingos FC's players had a chance to rest. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Verlet in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Osmundsen in the 39th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 40th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mané Andrade. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Lauro scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute of the match Marek Torm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lauro came free, but Mané Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Magadan got free with Sebastián Sosa in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Lauro in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Vladimiro Lauro put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mané Andrade. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Luciano Lleir replaced Per-Olof Vallmark. Bruno Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Osmundsen came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Mané Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Ladislao Erramu replaced Vladimiro Lauro. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Maraponga FAC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Erramu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maraponga FAC! Yves Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Zeru Dorado got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Ladislao Erramu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Torm in the 98th minute of play forced Maraponga FAC's goalkeeper Mané Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Maraponga FAC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
