Cirilo Arlo was slow to take the kick. During this time BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. In the 4th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes in the game, David Forsberg got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. Ramon Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goalkeeper Orhan Seyfi Üstün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Pueblo. In the 21st minute Ali Orhan Yalvaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes H E P T A N got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ziya Bilginer. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ramon Pueblo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Orhan Seyfi Üstün when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Big Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Lakis Kaminaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Kaminaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Arlo to maneuver through the defense. Lakis Kaminaris kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when İlhami Akkurt came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Orhan Yalvaç to make the kick off. When Ramon Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Pueblo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhami Akkurt in the 57th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Akkurt in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Şenalp came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Ramon Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the H E P T A N defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. The H E P T A N fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Seyfi Üstün should have stopped the shot. H E P T A N made a substitution. Refik Akdoğan replaced İlhami Akkurt. Ekber Sadir hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pueblo came free, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. After 81 played minutes H E P T A N got a freekick which was hit by Kıraç Ergüden. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Pueblo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orhan Seyfi Üstün saved H E P T A N from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Arman Başarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Ramon Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. Arman Başarman charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arman Başarman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes H E P T A N got a freekick which was hit by Arman Başarman. In the 98th minute of the match Cirilo Arlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

For all the effort they put into the match, the H E P T A N players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB.
