In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Øverås made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Luis Bonet made a precise shot to the right of Falcão Cunha. Gracie Barra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 32nd minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 34th minute of play. Luis Bonet took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falcão Cunha. Falcão Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Saldanha. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Daustad booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alberigo Mancini kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 54th minute of the match. Falcão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jago Štriker in the 59th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Luis Bonet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Pedro Velloso. In the 75th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Daustad's Are Rygg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Are Rygg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Daustad protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Are Rygg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Gracie Barra. Thiago Silvan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jo Øverås. 2-2. 82 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when 柯锋真 came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Øverås stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 柯锋真's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberigo Mancini during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Alberigo Mancini got a free kick in the 89th minute. Thiago Silvan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jo Øverås. Daustad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Nilton Botelho notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Daustad's Jo Øverås. Jo Øverås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daustad's Kevin Bernini was substituted for Alberigo Mancini.
