Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Toldo. Porvoon Futura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. GuateFortín's Severo Rameriz was substituted for Stanyo Búnkov. Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 13th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Co Vid, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Porvoon Futura's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Höijer in the 17th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Big Fart heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Co Vid struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvoon Futura. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Francesco Toldo to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in GuateFortín's zone, Paavo Hirvonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal and Paavo Hirvonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by GuateFortín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrik Höijer was slow to take the kick. During this time Porvoon Futura's players had a chance to rest. After 40 played minutes Porvoon Futura got a freekick which was hit by Aleksis Lahikainen. 45 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 50th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 54 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Angel Alvarenga. In the 59th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GuateFortín's Pablo Mora was substituted for Máximo Perrone. In the 66th minute, Co Vid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nery Pumpido was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 70 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes of play, Porvoon Futura's Co Vid made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nery Pumpido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Porvoon Futura made a substitution. Iso Gulli replaced Big Fart. Porvoon Futura made a substitution. Vladimir Haritonov replaced Kol Miot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porvoon Futura's goalie prevented a goal. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
