With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Major in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Józef Wandzik saved Dark Drinkers Sanok from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Benet Amorebieta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. The goal made the score 1-3. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. That made the score 2-3 after 34 minutes of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Benet Amorebieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Debowski to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pogoń Szczecin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
