An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 11th minute of play forced PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalkeeper Cafu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaggelis Pavlidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Pavlidis ran back to his position shaking his head. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Alvarez in the 16th minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Alvarezs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Bogdan Pilarski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 18 minutes Vęgoria Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lukasz Klucznik who took care of the corner kick. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 23rd minute of play. Vęgoria Team's Bogdan Pilarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Vęgoria Team from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Usain Bolt came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's zone, Gavino Demesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Negri came out of the goal and Gavino Demesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's Vaggelis Pavlidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Vęgoria Team were awarded a corner. Emre Demir went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Pawel Wojtala almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri did a great save. Bogdan Pilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Vaggelis Pavlidis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Vęgoria Team's Roman Sierocki was substituted for Vaggelis Pavlidis. Cafu Negri had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Fred Carlsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Bogdan Pilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Zalayeta in the 55th minute of play. Asım Arif Rasi made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Zalayeta. In the 62nd match minute, Vęgoria Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Ikalewicz to maneuver through the defense. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON made a substitution. Procopio Mayorga replaced Agustín Alvarez. In the 70th minute, Millrick Portanares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roman Sierocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millrick Portanares made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Zalayeta. Bogdan Pilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cosca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Procopio Mayorga came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukasz Klucznik charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukasz Klucznik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Sierocki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cafu Negri came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Sierocki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 98th minute. Bogdan Pilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Procopio Mayorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vęgoria Team's Szczepan Fiszer got a free kick in the 101st minute.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vęgoria Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
