The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 24th minute, Baez FC's Danilo Zárate ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Ospetsu. Valentin Ospetsu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Yerko Son fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jesus Carvallo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Ni Zhen Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Zhen Feng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Valentin Ospetsu made a huge save. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Frutos in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Frutos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes in the game, Ni Zhen Feng dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Frutos came free, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Frutos in the 39th minute of play. Ni Zhen Feng kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Frutos came free, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barrio Norte FC's Waldo Ponce got a free kick in the 45th minute. Waldo Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

With a little luck, Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo got control of the ball when Osvaldo Frutos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 54th minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Jesus Carvallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Frutos went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 59th minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Osvaldo Frutos sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Barrio Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Zhen Feng came free, but Valentin Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Frutos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Jesus Carvallo, 1-3. Barrio Norte FC's Don Elias was substituted for Yerko Son. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ofelio Galván in the 69th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Carvallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 81st minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Zárate in the 82nd minute of the match. Thalis Papazisis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlos Bravo in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Karlos Bravo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Horacio Jesus Carvallo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Barrio Norte FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barrio Norte FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
