A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Severo Anabalon with Xacobo Barroso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Blanco in the 20th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodemo Recalde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronnie Odell in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes VILLANUEVA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bautista Marcó who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 25 minutes, Ronnie Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronnie Odell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Pan Lin Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicodemo Recalde was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Pan Lin Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Recalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, VILLANUEVA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Anabalon to maneuver through the defense.
