Juan Alberto Allende was a little too slow when Gong Ao Guang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Gong Ao Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barrabases de Victoria's Juan Alberto Allende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrabases de Victoria from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Peñarol's Mörður Filt got a free kick in the 91st minute. Xaiver Rosende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Elkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrabases de Victoria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. Peñarol.
