With a left leg Eugenio Manfredi saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrea Muciaccia was slow to take the kick. During this time Santoryu FC's players had a chance to rest. If Joel Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. In the 31stth minute of the game Grzegorz Grzelak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johan Ström scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Carnevale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Strano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

51 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Chale came free, but Eugenio Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Chale took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Manfredi. Eugenio Manfredi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eugenio Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Grzelak in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 60th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Eugenio Manfredi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Ström took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Carnevale. Ercole Carnevale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 69th minute Grzegorz Grzelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Manfredi having to interfere. Santoryu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Henry Hamberg scored to the left of an out of position Ercole Carnevale, making the score, 1-3. With a little luck, Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale got control of the ball when Joel Hibai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Lazzaro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fedele Panza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Carnevale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Henry Hamberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The Santoryu FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lunatics of Arianrhod were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
