Liu Xing Qiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kuido Suursaar was the one to do the kick off. When Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Francesco Coscia in the 50th minute got a chance for a shot 50th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kuido Suursaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Xing Qiang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Claus Himschoot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Jadamowitz's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Erwin Jadamowitz sped through PomeziaRamblers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claus Himschoot. A collision led to PomeziaRamblers getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Maximo Hanot hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Jadamowitz came free, but Claus Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Gaston Florian put in a rough tackle. In the 75th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Florian to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Christian Bulla was substituted for Valeriu Stoicescu. Liu Xing Qiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuido Suursaar in the 83rd minute of the match. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jadamowitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Serafim Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Malta came free, but Claus Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Liu Xing Qiang got control of the ball when Kuido Suursaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The PomeziaRamblers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Didier Skarsø was substituted for Erwin Jadamowitz. Kuido Suursaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the PomeziaRamblers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC.
