Andrea Tofani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Franco Masetti kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Ettore Mazzocchetti fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA Lord Perez's protests and gave Ettore Mazzocchetti a yellow card for diving instead. Ettore Mazzocchetti hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The LA Lord Perez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessio Martini should have stopped the shot. LA Lord Perez's Alessio Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save LA Lord Perez from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes LA Lord Perez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Leizarraga who took care of the corner kick. Mihail Brânza struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Alessio Martini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
