Biagio Tolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Corrado Piscopo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Medoacus Maior's Fausto Fontanive was substituted for Cristiano Leggeri. Miguel Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Medoacus Maior's Miguel Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Medoacus Maior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
