Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giovanni Falcone started the match with the kick off. Daniele Massaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Carnevale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Eugenio Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Grzelak in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Grzegorz Grzelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Del Duca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Rosetta in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Falcone came free, but Ercole Carnevale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Carnevale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Falcone's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Massaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Grzelak in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Colecchia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 45th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Angelo Lazzaro made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seggiano's Elia Cellucci. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santoryu FC! 53 minutes into the game, Daniele Massaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ercole Carnevale. Daniele Massaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Daniele Massaros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Ercole Carnevale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Daniele Massaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seggiano made a substitution. Carmine Righi replaced Daniele Massaro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 60th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Eugenio Colecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Pasinati in the 62nd minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carmine Righi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Righi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Carnevale having to make a save. Alessio Nola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ercole Carnevale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Frank Andreassi replaced Andrea Muciaccia. Santoryu FC's Dennis Nero was substituted for Teodoro Chale. Ercole Carnevale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Righi in the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carmine Righi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Carnevale was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Righi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ercole Carnevale saved Santoryu FC from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Nero came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Carmine Righi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Carnevale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Seggiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seggiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
