In the 5thth minute of the game Adrián Espadas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Soroca F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 11th minute. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by PomeziaRamblers's Bruno Scibilia. But to his dismay, Bruno Scibilia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dan Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kuido Suursaar sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuido Suursaar to maneuver through the defense. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuido Suursaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to PomeziaRamblers getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alfonso Iezzi hit a great ball. PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 32nd minute of play. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zézinho Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claus Himschoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PomeziaRamblers's zone, Zézinho Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claus Himschoot came out of the goal and Zézinho Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuido Suursaar in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuido Suursaar in the 59th minute of the match. Iordanis Karatzaferis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Patricio Raebert replaced Hernan Lano. In the 62nd minute, one of Soroca F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soroca F.C.. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrián Frick was slow to take the kick. During this time PomeziaRamblers's players had a chance to rest. 70 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Necula. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Răzvan Necula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amador Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 minutes PomeziaRamblers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Venceslao who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Amador Venceslao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PomeziaRamblers's Claus Himschoot did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Necula in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in PomeziaRamblers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute, Soroca F.C. got a penalty, and Amador Venceslao placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
