Joel Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Venceslao in the 6th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Eugenio Manfredi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. In the 12th minute, Norberto Liberato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Joel Hibai sent off a good shot on target. If Fedele Panza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Martini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fedele Panza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Martini in the 29th minute of play. Eugenio Manfredi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Martini came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrián Espadas took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Manfredi. Eugenio Manfredi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute of the match, Ernesto Martini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dan Wennerqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fedele Panza's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Panza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Fedele Panza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Manfredi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eugenio Manfredi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Martini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Manfredi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Eugenio Manfredi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 61st minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Ström in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Lunatics of Arianrhod got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Hibai ran over to the corner to take the kick. 72 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Manfredi, 0-4. Cássio Zonta lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Soroca F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lunatics of Arianrhod:s goal. Dan Wennerqvist had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Hibai's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rodolfo Atarrabi hit a great ball. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunatics of Arianrhod's Francesco Romino. But to his dismay, Francesco Romino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
