Disco Inferno FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Disco Inferno FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Todd Jackson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kersten Specht in the 16th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dakota Coote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hartmut Hester came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dakota Coote could save by the left post. Dakota Coote was a little too slow when Kersten Specht got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Disco Inferno FC booed when Gene Centaurs Munich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulli Pronold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kersten Specht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Disco Inferno FC's Humphry Delahide got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kersten Specht to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Gordon Tritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Devere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jangner having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Kersten Specht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Disco Inferno FC's Dakota Coote was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Disco Inferno FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hartmut Hester was slow to take the kick. During this time Gene Centaurs Munich's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gene Centaurs Munich's Hartmut Hester to fire away a dangerous shot which Dakota Coote despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gene Centaurs Munich's Michel Richardsen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Dakota Coote took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartmut Hester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Opus Asbeck's late challenge caught a Disco Inferno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Opus Asbeck helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gene Centaurs Munich's Opus Asbeck got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gene Centaurs Munich's Daniel Jangner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Gorham in the 93rd minute of play. The Gene Centaurs Munich support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
