The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Rawdon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Houghton to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Georg Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Holland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matty Holland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Kämpe in the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rawdon FC's zone, Edward Markusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matty Holland came out of the goal and Edward Markusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Fredrik Glad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svennis Grabbar FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Svennis Grabbar FF's Edward Markusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matty Holland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Svennis Grabbar FF booed when Rawdon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Keyworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matty Holland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Markusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rawdon FC's Matty Holland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Kämpe in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Svennis Grabbar FF's 柯天林 made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matty Holland was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Svennis Grabbar FF's Fredrik Glad in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rawdon FC's goalie prevented a goal. After taking down the ball on Svennis Grabbar FF's corner Fredrik Glad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matty Holland quite easily take care of the ball. Matty Holland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Glad in the 40th minute of play. When Svennis Grabbar FF's Fredrik Glad in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rawdon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Rawdon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svennis Grabbar FF were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rose Bramble to make the kick off. Svennis Grabbar FF's Johan Kämpe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rawdon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Edward Markusson scored to the left of an out of position Matty Holland, making the score, 0-7. With a little luck, Rawdon FC's Matty Holland got control of the ball when Edward Markusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Fredrik Glad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Matty Holland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matty Holland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Rawdon FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rio Heaney hit a great ball. Matty Holland came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Svennis Grabbar FF's Edward Markusson. But to his dismay, Edward Markusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 74 minutes into the match, Rawdon FC's goalkeeper Matty Holland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Gustafsson. In the 76th minute, Svennis Grabbar FF's Edward Markusson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matty Holland. Matty Holland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Svennis Grabbar FF's Karl-Oskar Jönsson was substituted for Johan Kämpe. The supporters of Svennis Grabbar FF booed when Rawdon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Heaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matty Holland was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Karl-Oskar Jönsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Oskar Jönsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Oskar Jönsson got free with Matty Holland in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Edward Markusson took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Matty Holland to make any attempt to save it.
