After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Andes's zone, Pedrão Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Piearres came out of the goal and Pedrão Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Florin in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Remigio Florin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gláuber Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Serafino Piearres made a huge save. 潘远迅 hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Fernandes in the 21st minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Serafino Piearres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Anselmo Milio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sydney Mazza hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Anselmo Milio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percival Prestes skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Serafino Piearres got control of the ball when Natã Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Percival Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Prestes having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kévin Zenón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Nogueira in the 54th minute of the match. Horácio Pires hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Sarmento. In the 68th minute of the match, 潘远迅 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Percival Prestes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when REAL VASCO RIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Los Andes's Percival Prestes threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 潘远迅, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Percival Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 潘远迅's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Modesto Celino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Celino. 91 minutes into the game, Modesto Celino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Percival Prestes. Modesto Celino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 95 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Fernandes came free, but Serafino Piearres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
