Unikurdos United F.C.'s Estebe Caneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Proietti in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Enzo Proietti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estebe Caneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Rello in the 28th minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rexino Astera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dave Falcioni. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Roch Hatman might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estebe Caneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roch Hatman ran back to his position shaking his head. Roch Hatman's late challenge caught a Unikurdos United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roch Hatman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Burnley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Hatman to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Cristoforo Capuozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Pangua in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pitin Malet during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Unikurdos United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pitin Malet to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match, Cristoforo Capuozzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Estebe Caneiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Unikurdos United F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Burnley FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
