Hartmut Hester started the match with the kick off. With 3 minutes on the clock, Lauritz Palmer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gene Centaurs Munich fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 5th minute, Ulli Pronold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 10 minutes, Zdenko Stachowsky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gene Centaurs Munich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdenko Stachowsky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Rexino Astera came free, but Daniel Jangner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gene Centaurs Munich getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ulli Pronold hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Rexino Astera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jangner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Rexino Astera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ulli Pronold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Freddy Pangua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gene Centaurs Munich's Daniel Jangner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Freddy Pangua came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Unikurdos United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Pangua couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pitin Malet in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Jangner saved Gene Centaurs Munich from getting behind. Zdenko Stachowsky hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Ulli Pronold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estebe Caneiro. Unikurdos United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulli Pronold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Daniel Jangner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Pangua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Pangua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osasun Agriano hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Daniel Jangner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Astera, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the match, Rexino Astera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Jangner. Gene Centaurs Munich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rexino Astera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daniel Jangner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Pangua in the 75th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Guy Behrens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estebe Caneiro. Unikurdos United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guy Behrens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Gene Centaurs Munich getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Opus Asbeck hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gene Centaurs Munich fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unikurdos United F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
