After 2 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Rello. When Pitin Malet fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unikurdos United F.C.'s protests and gave Pitin Malet a yellow card for diving instead. Pitin Malet kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Alvaro Rello hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, REAL VASCO RIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Percival Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitin Malet, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Alfredo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Pitin Malet came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rexino Astera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estebe Caneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Souza's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pitin Malet. Estebe Caneiro made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Alfredo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Estebe Caneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Unikurdos United F.C. were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after REAL VASCO RIO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddy Pangua took the corner. After taking down the ball on Unikurdos United F.C.'s corner Freddy Pangua fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Percival Prestes quite easily take care of the ball. After 38 minutes of play Unikurdos United F.C.'s Pitin Malet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pitin Malet hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Alfredo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Alvaro Rello got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Horácio Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Pangua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rexino Astera might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percival Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rexino Astera ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Pangua. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natã Nogueira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unikurdos United F.C. booed when REAL VASCO RIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Pangua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Percival Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Alvaro Rello got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Unikurdos United F.C. booed when REAL VASCO RIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Blas Bolantin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Souza in the 88th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Estebe Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estebe Caneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Souza in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Horácio Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REAL VASCO RIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unikurdos United F.C. the free kick. After 96 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Damião. Unikurdos United F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
