An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 9th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Måns Kjellman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isaltino Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Enéas Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Kjellman in the 50th minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, FC ANC's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Carneiro came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Artemio Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaltino Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Velloso got free with Martin Tudor in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Petricca came free, but Isaltino Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Gol dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Carlos Alberto Sá hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Danone CC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC ANC.
