Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Casado came free, but Wiktor Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Carneiro was a little too slow when Jardel Cabezon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jardel Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Alfredinho Carneiro made a huge save. The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when Colognese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rurik Öhlmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Alfredinho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Wiktor Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Colognese FC's Geovanni Leme. But to his dismay, Geovanni Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Radomir Bazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alfredinho Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Ruben Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Geovanni Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Radomir Bazan sent off a good shot on target.

With a little luck, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski got control of the ball when Ruben Casado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jardel Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Carneiro was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Geovanni Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Dudkowski came out of the goal and Geovanni Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 78th minute of play forced Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Cocârlă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Wiktor Dudkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
